The Largest in the Country!
We met at 7:00 a.m. on a Friday. The outside
temperature was 7 degrees. The truck pulled up
carrying four crates totalling almost 5000 lbs.
Thinking it would be easy to operate a fork lift, I
attempted to unload the crates myself, but
quickly changed my mind and relinquished the
controls to the truck driver.
It took four hours to unpack the crates that morning
in the staging area, an empty space in the mall. As
no construction is allowed during mall hours of
operation, we had to wait until 9:30 p.m. to continue.

Pen Events

May was a fantastic month for events!
We traveled to Massachusettes for the Boston Pen
Show. As always, it was a great show! We look
forward to the day when the show moves back to
Downtown Boston.
Back at home, we hosted an awesome Pen Fair! This
event was attended by more pen company
representatives and customers than ever before!
Coming up is fun in the sun with the Miami Pen Show
returning to the historic Biltmore Hotel in Coral
Gables. This show is going to be as hot as Miami
Beach!

Michael has done it again!

Q: How do I store a piston-fill fountain pen I
may not use for a while?
A: The obvious answer is to completely
clean and dry the pen so that no ink is present.
When this is not possible, quickly clean the pen with
cold water to remove as much ink as possible and
then fill the pen with distilled water. This will
prevent the piston from seizing when stored for long
periods of time. This will also prevent having to send
the pen in for repair and a complete strip-down.
